To support its growing team, tech company Synopsys recently opened a new office in Munich. Global design firm Gensler led the design, while furniture dealer Insightful Environments curated pieces to meet the brief: a welcoming, hospitality-inspired space aimed at attracting new talent.

Located within a timber-structured building, the interior design was carefully considered to compliment the architecture. The rich, natural materials of the interior blend effortlessly with the building’s framework. Muted tones and forest green accents are used throughout, lending the space a grounded yet elevated feel.

Modularity and flexibility were essential to the design strategy, resulting in the interior being made up of freestanding furniture rather than fixed solutions. Our Ekko Modular Sofa was used in a range of configurations around the office, offering flexible seating that can be easily reconfigured as the space evolves.

Designed to scale and adapt to the needs of the workspace, our Facit Unlimited Table serves as a focal point in the Synopsys office. Positioned at the heart of the collaboration hub and paired with Crossover Young Iconic Chairs, the setting supports both dynamic work sessions and informal meetings.

The office reception stays true to the design ethos, featuring natural materials and elements of biophilia. Our Gab Lounge Chairs complement the wooden reception counter with their smoked oak frames and cognac leather upholstery. A deep blue Ekko Modular Sofa adds a pop of colour while remaining rooted in the overall natural palette.
