Guidewire

Specialist software company Guidewire recently relocated their London office to the MURO Building in City of London. They engaged Peldon Rose to deliver a turnkey office space, collaborating with MOLA Architecture and MJF Interiors to deliver the Cat A to Cat B conversion.

The Guidewire reception

A striking front-of-house makes a strong first impression of the office with its combination of natural materials and vibrant colours. Speedgates define the transition between client-facing zones and employee areas, supporting a seamless visitor experience while maintaining uninterrupted workflow throughout the day.

Beyond the reception and through the speedgate, a dynamic open-plan workspace encourages collaboration and connection. Here, biophilic elements and bold geometric forms introduce depth, texture and visual interest — transforming the space from functional to experiential.

Systems in place

Our modular systems, 4T and BLOX, play a central role in shaping the look and feel of the workspace.

BLOX Planters and 4T Room Division give dimension to the open-plan environment and enhance wellbeing by adding biophilia. Using the same oak finish on panels across the soft, curved BLOX and the sharper, geometric 4T creates a cohesive yet dynamic design expression.

In the reception area, our Ekko Modular Sofa delivers immediate impact. Its sculptural form anchors the space and reinforces a strong and memorable first impression.

Clever curves

Set against a vibrant mural by Dublin-based artist Aches, the Ekko Modular Sofa mirrors the artwork’s rhythm, curving gracefully along the wall.

The true brilliance lies in how the curved Ekko modules work in harmony with the shape of the wall to create space for large planting. The result is the illusion of a built-in planter behind the sofa — a seamless blend of furniture, architecture and biophilia.
